Diagnose

Do you sweat from your palms, or experience sweating more than you think is normal underneath your armpits? Then you might be suffering from hyperhidrosis. This syndrome causes excess sweating through clothes, or sweat dripping from the hands. Patients with hyperhidrosis often feel self-conscious, embarrassed, and anxious, especially in social situations, and it can even interfere with normal life. It can be especially difficult to deal with in the hot Caribbean climate that we enjoy here in Cayman.

Treat

Using botox, we can address excessive sweating from the armpits or hands by blocking the nerve glands that promote sweat in that area. This effectively stops the nerve glands from working and can help control the amount of sweat being produced.
